Water – Gilchrist County has setup a potable water station located at the rodeo arena / American Legion building at 4200 S US 129. Please bring your own container to fill.
Power – Crews continue to work restoring power but have not been able to give an accurate estimate of when this will all be completed. Please make sure you have reported your outage to your utility provider in order to ensure you are on their repair list.

Food – We have reports of several restaurants in Trenton, Bell and Chiefland opening. Wal-Mart in Chiefland and Hitchcocks in Trenton are confirmed to be open. If you know of another location open, please post in the comments section below.
Gas – We have seen posts of several stations receiving fuel in the area. Due to the constant change in this status along with traffic updates, we ask that you please post any information you may have in the comments section below.
School – The Gilchrist County School Board has confirmed that school will be closed tomorrow. We still have citizens in our special needs shelter that are unable to go home until their power is restored. This shelter is currently located at the school and we are working to relocate and/or restore power. More information will be provided once available for the rest of the week.
Solid Waste – Gilchrist County Solid Waste in Bell is open from 8am-5pm today. We are still working to restore our remote drop locations.

Tools/lumber – Ace Hardware in Trenton is currently open. We have not seen Gilchrist Building Supply open as of yet but are likely still have a power outage at this location.
Hazardous Conditions – If you need to report a power line down or a tree on a line, Please contact GCSO on their non-emergency line 352 463 3410. If you have an EMERGENCY, please dial 911.
Reporting Storm Damage – Gilchrist County Emergency Management is tracking major damage to HOMES and BUSINESSES. Please call 386.935.5400 if you have experienced this type of loss. We are not currently recording damage to damages to fences, gates, etc.
