BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS,HELD FEBRUARY 10, 1992 AT l2:l5 P.M.
The Gilchrist County Board of County Commissioners, in and for Gilchrist County, Florida, convened in a special meeting at the site of a county road adjoining property owned by Mark Johnson, February l0, l992 at l2:l5 P.M. All Commissioners were in attendance along with Jackie R. Barron, Ex-Officio Clerk; Ted Burt, County Attorney; Mark and Janet Johnson; Buddy Joyner, Road Superintendent; J. B. and Daniel O'Steen and George Johnson.
The meeting had been called to discuss with Mark Johnson the road adjoining property he owns concerning a controversy on the road width.
Commissioners inspected the road and discussed with those present the situation. Mr. Burt recommended that no decision be made today because Mr. Johnson's Attorney was unable to be present. Mr. Johnson stated he would like to see if everyone could work it out while they are all present.
Mr. Johnson offered 22 feet right of way north along his East West property line. Chairman Sheffield asked that Mr. Burt and Mr. Johnson's Attorney resolve the offer to writing for consideration at the regular Commission meeting in March. Motion was made by Commissioner Wilkerson, seconded by Commissioner Mathis and unanimously carried that the matter be deferred to the regular March meeting.
There being no other matter to come before the Board, motion was made by Commissioner Jones to adjourn at 2:00 P.M. Commissioner Wilkerson seconded the motion and the meeting was adjourned.
