MINUTES OF AN EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE GILCHRIST COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS HELD MARCH 23, 1998.
The Gilchrist County Board of County Commissioners, in and for Gilchrist County, Florida, convened in an emergency meeting held March 23, 1998, at 5:00 p.m., in the County Commissioner's Meeting Room, located in the Gilchrist County Courthouse, 112 South Main Street, Trenton, Florida, with the following members present to-wit:

Sue B. Suggs
Others in attendance were: Joseph W. Gilliam, Clerk of Circuit Court, Ron McQueen, EMA/County Coordinator, Sherree Pitzarell and Sam Ferguson, Deputy Clerks.
Mr. McQueen advised the Board that a state of emergency continues to exist in the county, and asked the Board to consider adoption of a resolution declaring a state of emergency due to flooding conditions. Commissioner Suggs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Durden to declare a continued state of emergency, by resolution. The motion carried unanimously. A copy of resolution 98-15 is on file in the Clerk's Office.
There being no further business to discuss, a motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Wilkerson, seconded by Commissioner Durden, and unanimously approved.
